Description
Luminous Circles Handwoven Shawl Handwoven Shawl is lovingly created with tencel warp threads I have dyed in two colorways, one warm colors and one cool colors and they are threaded together to create this vast array of colors when woven. The weft is a fine cotton thread. (Tencel is made from cellulose using environmentally friendly processes. It has the hand and drape of silk.)
This piece has a tremendous drape and a deliciously soft handle. It is luxurious on the body.
This piece has a small imperfection pictured below(last photo). One warp thread was repaired during the weaving process. It is secure and not obvious, but it is there and shows the humanity in the making of this kind of very slow fashion.
Dimensions are 16″ wide and 76″ long excluding fringe. The fringe is approximately 6″ on each end.
Hand wash in cool water. Hang or dry flat.
