Spumoni Hand Dyed & Carded Batt is superfine merino wool, silk, Leicester Longwool locks, mohair and banana silk, all hand dyed and carded with some upcycled sari silk. Perfect for drop spindle, spinning wheel, needle felting, water felting, Nuno felting, or simply inserting into your weaving. You can spin art yarns, or smooth and silky thinner yarns, single or plied. Whatever is your pleasure.
These are very soft and gentle colors. I made four of them at the same time, but each will be slightly different from one to another, as is the way with these handmade items!
Weight of each batt varies slightly from 2.3oz to 2.7oz.
